![]() It does not seek to alterthe game’s look, it does not add additional lighting, it does not remove spot lights orremove baked shadows. This mod does the following: This mod takes a conservative and disciplined approach. It did not take any development resources away. We Continue reading Dark Souls Remastered – InfiniDetail mod This project exists because of your support and belief in us to keep going doing great things. Or just reinstall retroarch to reset settings to default. Remember that this project exists for the benefit of our users, and that we wouldn’t keep doing this were it not for spreading the love to our users. If we have the same version of retroarch, to turn the overlay OFF while blind it should be down 4 times, press A (settings), down 9 times, press A (onscreen display), press A (onscreen overlay) and press left or right to turn OFF. In DOSBox Pure it is now possible to play DOS and early Windows multiplayer games that used IPX, Ethernet or a Continue reading RetroArch 1.17.0 release This is currently supported by two cores: DOSBox Pure and gpSP. RetroArch 1.17 expands Netplay to support playing multiplayer games that were originally played on two or more separate consoles or computers connected together. Historically, Neo Continue reading RetroArch 1.17 – new netplay features The upstream author of the Jolly Good Emulation project broke out this core and ported it to libretro to make it available to as many users as possible, and we’re happy to welcome it into the fold. Step 2: Upon opening the System section, click the Advanced system settings located on the right side of the screen. Step 1: Go to the Windows Settings and select the System category. We tried different settings and everything. Increasing your computer’s virtual memory will also enhance the stability of RetroArch. I'm gonna try out MiniUI now though because I think I might like that more.We have the pleasure of announcing a great new emulator core, the Neo Geo emulator Geolith. It freezes up and does not even work at all, both me and a friend tried it and it works very poorly to the point I am wondering why this was in closed beta for so long, it needed mass testing really badly is seems. I haven't found a way to change that yet.ĮDIT: Holy shit, I thought MiniUI was the name of the default OS that comes with the Miyoo Mini. Meaning if you press that center button by accident, you're closing your game and losing your progress. Before loading any games with sensitive save files, make sure you launch Retroarchs settings and disable those settings, don't forget to save your edits before exiting Retroarch.Īnother annoying thing, not sure if OnionOS or the handheld altogether, but the Menu button closes the active game instead of simply toggling between button maps. There's an annoying setting that automatically saves and load states on load AND it overrides your save file. One thing a lot of Miyoo Mini owners don't mention is think of this thing more as Retroarch than MiniUI/OnionOS. OnionOS is the superior choice since it has a lot of the config files preconfigured for you. They both live on the SD card, so you can have 2 cards and test/swap them freely.īoth OS's are terrible IMO. If you like simplicity above all, MiniUI is great. I'm a huge RetroArch fan and I think it's better than any standalone emulator for all the systems the Mini can play, so I chose Onion. It comes working out of the box, but it lets you change a lot to make it a better experience for you. ![]() Most of these are one and done, so you won't spend too mich time on it anyway. It also allows you to use video filters, adjust scaling and configure a lot of things to your liking. It has a very robust hotkey system that can be globally set, so all my hotkeys are valid for every game. It also uses RetroArch for all systems, which is the biggest deal for me. Onion is packed with more features and allows more freedom in your settings. If you don't want to tinker, to adjust any settings and just want something out of the box that you will forget about and just play, it's great.
